Hemlock Lake Campground opens the last Saturday in April and closes the first Sunday in October. Most of its campsites front on beautiful Hemlock Lake. The lake has a sandy bottom, is spring fed and 100 feet deep. It is so clear and cold that we have trout as well as bass, blue gill, perch and other species.
There is a waiting list for lakefront campsites, which are only available by the season. Some couples have retained campsites for 15 and 20 years. The lakefront guests have their own private docks. Short term guests can tie up a boat on either of our two big 60 ft docks and fish from them. We have a sandy swimming area all of us use.
Short term sites have picnic tables. Everyone can have a fire at their campsite. Bring your own wood or buy ours. All of our sites have water and electricity. Some have sewer connections. Those that do not have sewer connections, generally have gray water tanks. There is also a honey wagon service available for our season guests.

The best way to learn whether this quiet, friendly campground will suit you is to visit and talk with other guests. Often arrangements can be made to meet with the camper and show them around.
Our season guests make up more than 90% of our visitors.
We encourage flower planting and we allow pets on a leash. There are usually a few season sites or short term sites, with tables, available off the lake under our large pine trees.
If the camper wishes to see what sites are available and to talk with management, please call. Hemlock Lake's most popular camping site is the "Camping Cabin" ($35.00 nightly) and comes with the camper's choice of a canoe or rowboat. Bring your sheets or bedrolls.
